For the first person who said that they would never give up on you – and meant it.

Who is that person? I want to know a little bit about them.

Here is one of the submissions we recieved:

The first person that told me they would never give up on me was my high school science teacher. During high school, I felt like he was the only person who really understood me. I struggled with anorexia throughout most of my high school career. I didn’t recover until the middle of my senior year. He never gave up on me, even when I was stubborn and ungrateful. He was the first person I told about having anorexia. When I told him, he told me I was going to beat this and that he would never give up on me. He listened to me when I needed someone to hear me. He helped me recover by baby steps.
